Jitterbit Secures Dynamic Cloud Environments, Containers, and Microservices at Scale

Jitterbit, a cloud-based API integration company, needed better visibility and security control across a highly dynamic AWS environment with more than 400 active container, VM, and microservice instances. As the company grew, its security team struggled to keep up with the volume of activity, inaccurate alerts, and the challenge of tracking systems that were constantly spinning up and down. Jitterbit chose Lacework to help monitor cloud activity and identify unusual behavior.

With Lacework, Jitterbit gained complete visibility into containers, VMs, and applications by analyzing activity logs and automatically surfacing accurate alerts on important events. The platform processed 110 million lines of log data, helping the company monitor its environment with just two people, improve compliance reporting for SOC 1 and SOC 2, and reduce false alerts. Jitterbit also said Lacework was easy to implement and plans to use it in the build process to prevent failed containers from reaching production.
