Globe Tracker slashes alert noise by over 95% and uses automation to ship goods securely

Globe Tracker, a global shipping and supply chain visibility company, needed to strengthen security for its containerized and Kubernetes-based environment while meeting strict compliance requirements. The team also wanted to reduce alert noise and close visibility gaps across its cloud and legacy systems. To address these challenges, Globe Tracker turned to Lacework.

Using Lacework’s Polygraph Data Platform, Globe Tracker quickly deployed the solution, integrated it into GitHub and CI/CD workflows, and enabled automated compliance reporting and image/runtime scanning. The results were significant: alerts dropped by more than 95%, from 100-150 per day to fewer than five, while compliance assessment for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 became automated. Lacework also helped Globe Tracker shift security left and improve visibility across development and production.
