Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), Kuwait’s national oil refiner with three refineries (Mina Abdullah, Mina Ahmadi and Shuaiba), needed a stable, scalable and user‑friendly Laboratory Information Management System to enable electronic data transfer, statistical process control, improved audit documentation, instrument data capture and reduced paperwork/manpower while meeting quality standards such as ISO 9001. To meet these needs KNPC selected LabVantage Solutions’ SQL*LIMS as their enterprise LIMS platform.

LabVantage Solutions has supported KNPC since 1998, implementing SQL*LIMS at all three refineries and standardizing it enterprise‑wide; the system serves as the official repository for specifications and sample plans and handles sample setup, log‑in, work scheduling, result entry and workload monitoring.
