BCRT (Berlin-Brandenburg Center for Regenerative Therapies) is a multi-site research institute focused on translating regenerative medicine into clinical applications. Facing strict regulatory and traceability requirements, large volumes of instrument data, and the need for an intuitive, browser-based system with easy reconfiguration and minimal training, BCRT selected LabVantage Solutions and its LABVANTAGE BioBanking LIMS to meet these needs.

LabVantage Solutions implemented the configurable, multi-disciplinary LABVANTAGE BioBanking solution to provide full sample chain-of-custody tracking, instrument and supplies management, and streamlined data review via a user-friendly interface that requires no customer coding. The pilot is live in three laboratories with very promising results—improved data entry and traceability—and BCRT plans to scale the LabVantage Solutions deployment to all 25 of its laboratories.
