Tecnológico de Monterrey, a respected university in Mexico and Latin America, faced the challenge of providing its students with access to laboratory practicals, a need that became particularly urgent during the pandemic. To address this, the university partnered with Labster to implement its virtual laboratory simulations for over 300 students in courses such as Cellular Biology and Metabolism.

Labster provided a suite of eight simulations in physiology and microbiology, which were integrated with the university's Canvas LMS. This solution created a safe, immersive space for students to learn techniques through active, experiential learning, whether in remote or in-person classes. The results included increased student motivation, improved English vocabulary through specialized terminology, and enhanced teamwork. Professor Lizette Hernández Cárdenas confirmed that the institution will continue using Labster to enrich its educational model.
