National University of Singapore Innovates Science Education with Virtual Labs

The National University of Singapore (NUS) sought to innovate its STEM pedagogy and expand its biomedical engineering curriculum beyond the constraints of expensive physical lab equipment and traditional lectures.

Professor Bina Rai implemented Labster's interactive 3D virtual lab simulations to address this challenge. The solution allowed NUS to fill equipment gaps, condense lab time, and utilize student progress tracking. As a result, Labster enabled a shift in teaching methodology, where professors now spend less time lecturing and more time providing individualized, one-on-one mentorship to students.
