How West Ranch High School Uses Labster to Close Knowledge Gaps

West Ranch High School faced challenges in meeting the diverse learning needs of its 2,200 students, including those from low-income households, ESL, and SPED programs, while also being constrained by the high cost of physical lab equipment. The school initially turned to vendor Labster and its Full Suite of science simulations as a remote learning solution during the pandemic.

By implementing Labster, the school provided an engaging, visual learning tool that closed knowledge gaps and cut costs by replacing expensive wet labs. The results included winning back class time for one-on-one teaching, significantly motivating SPED and visual learners, and expanding the science curriculum. Faculty reported that students understood the content better and were more excited about science, feeling like real scientists.
