Amman Baccalaureate School Uses Virtual Labs to Help Students Visualize Scientific Concepts

Amman Baccalaureate School faced a challenge in teaching complex scientific concepts like atomic structure and intermolecular forces, which are difficult for students to visualize in a traditional classroom setting. Teachers Ms. Rana Al Liddawi and Ms. Rania Barham sought an interactive tool to enhance their lessons and engage students in the IB diploma program. They turned to Labster and its virtual lab simulations to make these abstract ideas more accessible.

Labster provided a solution with its gamified virtual lab environment, which included simulations such as 'Atomic Structure' and 'Intermolecular Forces'. This allowed students to conduct experiments not possible in a physical lab. The platform also gave teachers real-time feedback on student comprehension through built-in quizzes. The result was significantly increased student engagement and a deeper understanding of the material, which was especially valuable for maintaining focus after the disruptions of COVID-19 remote learning.
