Case Study: Renbio achieves secure, centralized data sharing and standardized protocols with Labstep

A Labstep Case Study

Preview of the Renbio Case Study

RenBio uses their technology to deliver bio-blueprints by intramuscular injection to be read by muscle cells to produce disease-fighting antibodies in the patient’s own body

Renbio, a New York–based biotechnology start-up developing antibody therapeutics, faced challenges with sharing and accessing research data across its 51–100 person organization. The team struggled to organise research data, search legacy experiments and link experimental procedures, so Renbio adopted Labstep’s cloud-based research platform to provide a single, accessible system for storing and retrieving protocols and experimental data.

Labstep implemented a centralized, intuitive cloud solution that integrates with external software and instruments, standardises data recording through a protocol library, and enables secure team-wide sharing. As a result, Renbio now has secure data storage, easier data sharing, linked processes, less time spent searching entries and repeatable experiments—outcomes that saved time and encouraged collaboration across the organisation thanks to Labstep.
