Accelerating science with a centralised cloud platform for cancer detection R&D

Elypta, a Solna-based cancer in-vitro diagnostics company developing a metabolism-based liquid biopsy, struggled to manage and track thousands of clinical samples with no real cataloguing process. Excel-based tracking was insecure and unsustainable, and traditional software could not handle running multiple large analysis lists (up to 2,000 samples), so Elypta engaged Labstep and its centralized cloud platform to provide a scalable, secure sample-management solution.

Labstep implemented its cloud platform to catalogue samples, enforce traceability and accountability (who/when changes were made), enable bulk entry and exports, and integrate with instruments and external software. As a result, Elypta achieved enhanced data integrity and security, consistent sample standards across teams, easy entry of thousands of samples and the ability to run analysis lists up to 2,000 samples, plus solved machine-to-machine communication — accelerating their R&D workflows.
