LayerZero enables atomic cross-chain settlement across 2 chains with Labrys

Labrys partnered with LayerZero to address the challenge of achieving atomic cross-chain settlement for regulated security tokens. LayerZero's core mission is to provide secure, trust-minimized communication across over 70 blockchains. The specific challenge was that security tokens exist on regulated chains while payments are on general-purpose chains, and manual bridging introduced significant risk and potential for operational failure, with no room for user error.

The solution implemented by Labrys was a custom cross-chain DvP settlement dApp. They built a settlement engine using LayerZero's messaging protocol, a real-time event indexer, production-grade smart contracts, and a unified dApp interface. This enabled atomic, real-time settlement between security tokens and payment tokens across chains, abstracting all complexity for the user. As a result, Labrys delivered an institutional-grade application that proved regulated security tokens can be settled atomically without manual bridging.
