A LaborChart Case Study

LaborChart helps electrical contractor reinvent the whiteboard

W. Bradley Electric, Inc., a California-based electrical contractor, needed a better way to manage labor across multiple divisions, union travel restrictions, and long project timelines. The team was relying on large whiteboards and manual updates, which created extra work and the risk of human error. LaborChart was used to replace the old process with a more mobile, digital approach.

LaborChart integrated with W. Bradley Electric’s Spectrum construction accounting software to automatically track labor, project timelines, skill sets, and wages, reducing updates that once required multiple emails across departments to a few automatic refreshes per day. W. Bradley Electric replaced its whiteboards with touchscreens, improved communication between office and field, and gained a clearer 16-week project view. LaborChart also gave leadership quick access to employee location data, helping during emergencies like the 2019 Windsor wildfires.
