Labguru digitizes UAMS's research data to boost consistency and collaboration

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), led by Dr. Eric Peterson with lab manager Laura Ewing, was struggling with fragmented lab knowledge and inventory spread across paper notebooks, shared folders and instruments. To improve continuity, onboarding, and centralized access to protocols and inventory, the group adopted Labguru’s electronic lab notebook and lab management platform.

Labguru consolidated stocks, freezer inventory, equipment records, protocols, animal records and experimental notes into a single secure cloud database, with linked materials/recipes and protocol versioning.
