Labguru digitizes INSERM's research data to improve experimental outcomes

INSERM engaged Labguru to tackle the challenge of digitizing experimental records and improving traceability across its decentralized network of research labs. Facing high research volume and frequent staff turnover, INSERM launched a pilot to standardize lab workflows and capture experimental data more reliably using the Electronic Lab Notebook platform Labguru.

Labguru was rolled out in a “test & learn” pilot across some 300 researchers with tailored training, achieving 60% daily use within four months. Labguru replaced paper exchanges, enabled easier inventory and protocol tracking, and improved traceability so teams can identify success and failure factors in experiments; data residency in a Paris data center also addressed INSERM’s privacy requirements.
