Station1, an educational organization focused on socially-directed STEM learning, partnered with LabArchives to deliver a shared curriculum for its summer program. The challenge was to find a digital platform capable of supporting their interdisciplinary, blended, and research-based pedagogy, which required organizing diverse materials, enabling real-time student collaboration, and facilitating instruction from a distributed team.

LabArchives provided its cloud-based electronic lab notebook platform, which was used as a learning management system. The solution enabled the organized, hierarchical structuring of multimedia curriculum materials, real-time student work uploads from the field, and seamless collaboration among instructors. The results included an enhanced active learning experience, the creation of a complete digital archive for students and the curriculum, and the ability to facilitate a flipped classroom model, greatly improving pedagogical outcomes.
