STATION1 An Orchestra of Socially Minded Inquiry in Science and Technology

Station1, a new higher education institution focused on socially-directed science and technology, needed a digital platform to deliver its unique curriculum and manage research for its fellows. They sought a solution to seamlessly integrate the digital and physical aspects of their custom learning space and support an inclusive, inquiry-based educational model. To meet this need, Station1 implemented the LabArchives platform.

LabArchives served as the digital platform to deliver Station1's curriculum and functioned as an electronic lab notebook and instructional tool. The solution facilitated blended active learning and greatly enhanced the program's pedagogical approaches and learning outcomes. The platform supported the fellows as they conducted over 300 hours of research internships and engaged with a curriculum exploring the societal impact of technology, contributing to a life-changing educational experience for the students.
