Qms2go launches a 12+ hour wearable voice recorder with LA NPDT

The customer, Qms2go, an AI quality management software provider, faced the challenge of capturing critical spoken findings on loud, phone-restricted manufacturing plant floors. Their software users could not use phone apps due to security policies and the impracticality of gloves, so they partnered with vendor LA NPDT for a dedicated hardware solution.

LA NPDT designed and manufactured a wearable voice recorder from the ground up. The solution featured a durable 6061 aluminum body, glove-operable controls, and advanced DSP audio tuning to ensure intelligible speech capture over extreme industrial noise. The final product was a fully branded, retail-ready device that successfully feeds high-quality audio directly into the Qms2go platform, enabling quality managers to capture findings where they happen.
