Texas Beef Council - Customer Case Study

The Texas Beef Council, which promotes beef sales and consumer education in the nation’s largest beef-producing state, revamped its site to focus on consumers and launched a monthly email newsletter, "Beef Bytes." Facing rapidly growing subscription demand, limited internal capacity (only 2,000 subscriptions) and a need for secure, private list management, the Council selected L-Soft’s EASE email list hosting service to provide a scalable, reliable solution.

L-Soft’s EASE hosted and administered the Council’s list, ensuring security and easy management while enabling stronger subscriber engagement. Within six months the list doubled to about 4,000 subscribers; by September 2002 it reached 18,000–20,000 and continued growing at 200–250 new subscriptions per month. EASE also supported successful promotions (free drawings drawing 500–800 participants) and made it simple for the Council to gather feedback and insights from subscribers.
