JISCMail is the UK higher-education and research email-list service that runs 9,000 lists serving 1.38 million subscribers, and its lists and 215 GB of archives needed reliable, cost‑effective hosting and continuity. The service runs on ListPlex, L-Soft's LISTSERV cloud hosting solution, and JISCMail’s challenge was to scale with growing volume, control costs, preserve its archives, and ensure fast resolution of operational issues (for example DMARC-related problems).

L-Soft procured new server equipment and migrated JISCMail’s mailing lists and all 215 GB of data to the ListPlex hosting environment, enabling seamless operations with fixed, predictable costs. The migration preserved archives, produced few post-move problems, improved response and problem resolution from L-Soft (notably for DMARC), and delivered reporting tools that help JISCMail demonstrate usage and justify funding for its 9,000 lists and 1.38 million subscribers.
