Harris Interactive, founder of the Harris Poll and a leader in Internet-based market research, faced rapid growth of its online panel into the millions and needed greater scalability, fast delivery and the ability to integrate with its database and perform mail-merge for highly customized messages. After evaluating options, Harris Interactive selected L-Soft and its LISTSERV® email list software and LSMTP® email delivery software to meet these requirements.

L-Soft implemented LISTSERV and LSMTP integrated into Harris Interactive’s production environment, delivering the scalability, reliability and developer-focused integration the company required. As a result L-Soft’s platforms supported a panel of about 6.2 million subscribers (projected to reach 10 million) and handled between 500,000 and 1.5 million fully customized emails per day with high performance and stability, becoming mission-critical to Harris Interactive’s operations.
