CrimEnet is an email-based network of law enforcement professionals formed to improve interagency communication and solve crime across jurisdictions. The group uses L-Soft’s LISTSERV® email list technology to allow verified officers, prosecutors and security personnel from 75 agencies to share tips, photos and case details quickly — addressing the challenge of coordinating investigations across county and state lines.
L-Soft’s LISTSERV solution enabled rapid, secure information sharing (often with responses in minutes), growing CrimEnet to about 320 members across Indiana, Michigan and Ohio and directly supporting multiple arrests and investigations. Measurable impacts include the recovery of roughly $1 million in stolen property, several multi-state arrests, linkage of related crimes across counties, and enhanced intelligence-sharing with state fusion centers — all achieved through the LISTSERV platform provided by L-Soft.
