AEGEE - Customer Case Study

AEGEE is one of Europe’s largest interdisciplinary student associations, representing about 15,000 students across many countries and 232 branches. Faced with the challenge of keeping volunteers and members connected, coordinated and informed across diverse locations, AEGEE turned to L-Soft and its LISTSERV product in 1997 to provide a reliable, scalable email communication platform.

L-Soft’s LISTSERV enabled AEGEE to host discussion and event lists (notably AEGEE‑L), run email-based votes, distribute press releases, and add spam filtering and DomainKeys support. The platform now supports 590 email lists with 96,000 subscribers and 21,000 daily deliveries, powers AEGEE‑L’s 1,500-subscriber forum, and helps organize 400+ yearly events—demonstrating clear, measurable improvement in member engagement and communication thanks to L-Soft.
