Crown World Mobility, a Hong Kong–based global mobility services provider, faced mounting complexity and compliance risks as its outsourced international payments and treasury services grew. Relying on spreadsheets and web banking was insufficiently scalable, time-consuming and exposed the business to manual errors while limiting its ability to support more clients efficiently.
Crown implemented Kyriba’s cloud-based payment factory with local Hong Kong presence and host-to-host bank connections, enabling straight-through processing and centralized controls. The change cut payment processing from 3–4 hours to 20 minutes and reconciliation from 4 hours to 30 minutes, delivered a 20% productivity gain (saving one full-time role), and generated over $80k in annual client payment cost savings—with some fees reduced 65–95% and $1.7m in non-productive client cost savings in 2016.
