A Kyriba Case Study
Condé Nast, the global media company behind brands like Vogue and The New Yorker, tasked its treasury team with supporting a new global organisational structure but faced fragmented, manual processes: inconsistent payment handling across markets, low automation and visibility into cash, fees and flows, and a complex European bank network of 16 banks that created duplicated work and idle balances.
Working with Bank of America and technology partners Kyriba, CashPro® and Workday, Condé Nast centralised treasury in a new entity, consolidated banking relationships, and automated cash concentration and cross‑border sweeps with XML file standards. The transformation delivered near‑straight‑through processing (0% to 99.5%), reduced banks from 16 to five in scope, cut idle balances and costs, improved visibility and controls, and produced scalable, efficient treasury operations and measurable ROI.
