Bally’s Corporation, a multi-brand gaming and interactive entertainment company, faced a manual-payments bottleneck: FreemarketFX — a key payments and banking provider used across 19 Bally’s entities with 63 active accounts — requires REST API connectivity, yet staff were manually entering an average of 289 payments a month via the provider portal. That manual process consumed roughly one FTE, introduced re-keying error risk and could not be supported by an out‑of‑the‑box Kyriba connection.
Bally’s Enterprise IT, working with Actualize Consulting, built AWS-hosted serverless middleware to broker real‑time API communication between Kyriba and FreemarketFX. The solution converts statements to CAMT.053 and payments to/from PAIN.001/PAIN.002 formats, uses event-driven functions and advanced logging/alerts, and returns instant payment status to Kyriba. The result: automated statement reporting and payment initiation, fewer errors, lower operating cost, improved process efficiency and future‑proof ISO 20022 connectivity without adding a third‑party IPaaS.
