Kyndryl implemented a compliance reporting solution built on Microsoft Azure, which used Apache Spark in Azure Synapse Analytics to surface powerful insights from the health system's Epic EHR data. The solution provided accurate visibility into CLABSI rates, highlighted potential procedural errors, and ensured data reliability. Preliminary data suggests the health system’s CLABSI rate significantly improved, decreasing the risk of costly regulatory fines and improving patient safety outcomes.
