The customer, Turkey's Isbank, faced a severe network outage that necessitated a migration of its servers, applications, and data to a new, resilient data center without disrupting its banking operations. Kyndryl implemented a meticulously planned migration, moving 6,000 servers, 750 applications, and 4 petabytes of data in just nine months without significant service interruption. The new Tier 4 data center, the first of its kind in Turkey, increased system availability and won a global Infrastructure Scale-Out Award. This solution by Kyndryl ensured 24/7 service availability for customers and provided a foundation for the bank's future cloud migration.
