Revamped network optimizes IT support for changing work styles and cloud adoption

Fuji Television Network, Inc., a Tokyo-based broadcaster and content company, needed a more secure, flexible network to support work-style reform, BYOD and future cloud adoption. To modernize its aging infrastructure, the company engaged Kyndryl (Network Integration Services) to design and implement an upgraded network leveraging Cisco TrustSec technology.

Kyndryl designed, tested and migrated a Cisco TrustSec-based solution (including Cisco Identity Services Engine and Virtual Switching System) using a two-phase approach that kept migration downtime under two hours. The upgrade delivered user-based access control, centralized policy administration, expanded bandwidth and higher availability—reducing space and power needs by more than 30%, lowering operational workload, improving security and enabling enterprise-wide, anytime/anywhere connectivity and cloud readiness.
