Multinational Investment Bank, a British multinational financial services company, needed to strengthen operational resilience to avoid the kinds of disruptive cyberattacks hitting peers. To move beyond prevention and ensure rapid recovery, the bank partnered with Kyndryl (and AWS) to co-create a cyber recovery approach that would isolate critical data, automate recovery and compliance, and reduce the business impact of a breach.

Kyndryl implemented a solution combining AWS-based data vaults with Kyndryl Resiliency Orchestration (including Resiliency Orchestration Management Suite), delivering enterprise-wide management, air-gapped immutable copies, a third recovery site, and automated recovery workflows. The result: simulated recoveries show the bank can restore services in hours instead of days, with 24x7 forensics/alerting/quarantine, automated regulatory reporting, minimized human intervention, and significantly reduced attack vectors.
