LOTTECARD, a South Korean credit card company, faced rapid industry change—falling merchant commissions, rising competition from digital payment platforms, and the need to deliver new services quickly with minimal cost and risk. To transform into a digital platform company and support growing non‑face‑to‑face traffic, LOTTECARD engaged Kyndryl to modernize its core financial systems using cloud‑native technology and Red Hat OpenShift containerization.
