A large Asia-Pacific telco with over 15 million subscribers sought to modernize its outdated and costly IT service management (ITSM) system to enhance productivity and accelerate issue resolution. The technical challenge involved upgrading and migrating a large, complex, and fragmented legacy environment that was risky to manage.

Kyndryl acted as lead integrator to upgrade the system and then migrate it to BMC Helix on AWS. Kyndryl modernized custom code, migrated over a billion data records, and integrated more than 60 applications. The project was completed on time and with zero business disruption, three times faster than the previous upgrade. Kyndryl's solution delivered 20-35% TCO savings and enabled future updates to be completed in days rather than years.
