Arab National Bank, responding to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and rising customer expectations for always-on digital services, faced a challenge of automating a largely manual IT disaster recovery process that relied on dozens of staff for quarterly and annual drills. With COVID-19, remote work and tighter Saudi Central Bank compliance requirements made manual recovery and time-consuming reporting risky, so Arab National Bank partnered with Kyndryl to implement an IT Disaster Recovery Orchestration and Automation solution.

Kyndryl delivered end-to-end orchestration with real-time dashboards, automated drills, and simplified reporting, targeting an aggressive 30-minute RTO and 5-minute RPO. The solution enabled automated switchovers and recoveries up to 80% faster for mission-critical applications, drove a 90% reduction in manual effort for tests and audit reporting, and proved minimal downtime through multiple full datacenter switchovers.
