SimCorp, the Copenhagen‑based provider of SimCorp Dimension used by investment managers worldwide, faced growing client demand to consume its flagship software as a service rather than manage on‑premises installations. To meet strict financial‑industry requirements for compliance, availability and global resilience, SimCorp engaged Kyndryl to help create a cloud‑based delivery model for SimCorp Dimension, leveraging managed infrastructure on IBM Cloud (including IBM Cloud for VMware Solutions, Oracle, Citrix and Zerto).

Kyndryl implemented a standardized, automated and fully managed IT stack with mirrored data centers in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Washington and Dallas, enabling SimCorp to offer SimCorp Dimension as a Service. The solution cut client onboarding time to less than a week, delivered a cost‑effective pay‑as‑you‑use configuration, and provided scalable, compliant and reliable operations — outcomes SimCorp credits to Kyndryl’s managed‑infrastructure expertise.
