Axi, a global financial services firm serving FX traders and brokers, needed a way to capture, analyze, and visualize large volumes of streaming market and trading data in real time. To support trading, operations, and risk management, the company required reliable business intelligence on quotes, customer trades, and derived calculations at scale. KX, using kdb Insights, was brought in to address this need.

KX implemented a real-time analytics stack that enabled Axi to process large datasets on a very small hardware footprint, generate reports on positions, perform risk analysis, and deliver insights to trading desks with low total cost of ownership. As Axi grew, KX Dashboards extended the solution across both historical and streaming data, and the platform later scaled on Azure to support efficient cloud-native processing for the expanding business.
