SOS SACCO partnered with Kwara to modernize its operations after struggling with outdated manual processes that forced members to visit the head office for account information and transactions. This made access slow and inconvenient, limiting growth and member engagement.
Kwara implemented its core banking system along with a SACCO mobile app and USSD functionality, enabling online account access, digital registration, and easier transactions. As a result, SOS SACCO improved accessibility and streamlined onboarding, while membership grew from about 1,800 to over 2,500 and the SACCO gained recognition as a leading digitalized cooperative.
