Case Study: Telcomat achieves real-time monitoring and alerts for connected telecom poles with Kuzzle IoT

To develop in a few weeks an application for the supervision and real-time monitoring of falling poles

Telcomat, an expert in telecom networks, needed a way to connect and digitize telecom poles for an international operator so they could detect falls, geolocate assets, and receive real-time alerts. To address this challenge, Telcomat used Kuzzle’s IoT Open Source platform for Smart City applications, along with a mobile and web-based supervision app, LoRa connectivity, and connected sensors on the poles.

With Kuzzle IoT, Telcomat implemented real-time monitoring, alerts, mapping, intervention tracking, and archiving to improve oversight of the pole fleet. The solution helps reduce repair times, lower breakdown rates, and make maintenance safer, while also supporting deployment across multiple communities and enabling easier inventory and management of telecom pole assets.
