Biogen Healthcare Solutions needed a native, multi-device mobile application to help multiple sclerosis patients and healthcare professionals manage care more effectively while meeting strict healthcare data regulations across multiple countries. To accelerate delivery and ensure compliance, Biogen worked with Kuzzle and its Open Source Backend, alongside React Native, for the Cléo app.

Kuzzle implemented key features including real-time chat, a responsive admin interface for broadcasting patient content, and a logbook for tracking treatment and health status. The result was a HIPAA-compliant app launched on iOS and Android in 16 weeks, with over 15,000 downloads in two months and a 4.5 App Store rating.
