Eneo, a Montpellier-based startup, needed to modernize its Explorama heritage discovery app and regain control over its backend after relying on Firebase. The company wanted a scalable, hostable solution that could support real-time, geolocated game trails and open the platform to tourism infrastructures.

Kuzzle provided Kuzzle Backend to replace Firebase, migrating and merging data from Firebase/Django/PostgreSQL to a French-hosted backend with no downtime and no data loss. The migration was completed in two weeks, and the full version 1 of the iOS and Android app was delivered in eight weeks, enabling real-time georeferencing, Elasticsearch-powered search, and scalable local gamification features.
