Côte-d’Or Department deploys energy platform in 45 days with Kuzzle

The Côte-d’Or Department sought to improve energy management and user comfort across its public buildings as part of its Smart Côte d’Or project. The challenge was to deploy a sovereign, interoperable platform to monitor and automate a historic building with nearly 200 sensors, all within an extremely tight schedule. They partnered with the vendor Kuzzle to use their Hypervision platform to address these goals.

Kuzzle implemented its open-source Hypervision platform, deploying six key use cases including room occupancy and temperature management in just 45 days. This resulted in a highly advanced demonstrator that provided a centralized, real-time operational view of the building. The successful project, which was presented to 500 mayors, laid the groundwork for a large-scale deployment across the department's 150 buildings and will be replicated across municipalities.
