Bouygues Construction connects 50,000 devices in real time with Kuzzle

Bouygues Construction sought to optimize its construction site operations by gaining real-time insights into the location and utilization of its equipment and resources across numerous sites. To address this challenge, they partnered with UBY, a solution incubated by Bouygues Construction and built using the Kuzzle IoT platform from vendor Kuzzle.

Using the Kuzzle IoT platform, UBY implemented a real-time Asset Tracking and geolocation solution powered by over 50,000 connected sensors. This provided Bouygues Construction with anonymized key data, enabling them to locate equipment remotely, measure utilization rates, identify logistics bottlenecks, and manage an inventory across more than 1,000 connected construction sites. Kuzzle enabled the rapid development and integration of multiple technologies, with the initial proof of concept delivered in just one week, demonstrating significant gains in speed and efficiency.
