Sartori Cheese, a Wisconsin-based cheese producer, collaborated with vendor Kurita America to conduct a comprehensive assessment of its water consumption, production, and wastewater discharge at its Antigo facility. The challenge was to review the plant's operations to improve sustainability and reduce water and waste costs while maintaining product quality.

Kurita America implemented a holistic water examination, which included an initial multi-day assessment and ongoing site visits to identify improvement opportunities. The solution identified over ten projects, leading to significant results. To date, the implementation of these projects has realized annual cost savings of $279,590, with the potential for further savings. The assessment also identified potential water savings of 22.3 million gallons annually.
