How Deloitte Hosted a Successful Online LGBQT+ Recruiting Event

Deloitte, the global consulting and accounting firm, needed a way to host an engaging online DEI recruiting event for advanced degree students in the LGBTQ+ community. To move beyond standard video meeting tools, the team chose Kumospace’s Virtual Events platform to create a more lively, interactive recruitment experience.

Using Kumospace, Deloitte hosted the event in an immersive virtual space with multiple themed floors, spatial audio, and a customized event link for easy access. The result was a more natural, organic way for candidates to move between conversations and connect with Deloitte staff; approximately 50 students and 10 team members attended, and Deloitte reported that the platform helped make the experience feel as close as possible to an in-person hiring event.
