Kanika Hotels & Resorts, a Cyprus-based hospitality group of 1,400+ employees, faced the challenge of uniting a largely deskless workforce around shared values and sustaining a positive workplace culture to deliver world-class guest experiences. To tackle this, Kanika adopted Kudos’ employee recognition platform and launched the SPIRIT Recognition and Rewards program to make appreciation and engagement an everyday part of the employee experience.

Using Kudos, Kanika mapped the SPIRIT program to its six core values, deployed tablets in staff canteens and enabled mobile access so even deskless team members could participate, and tied peer recognition to redeemable points and financial incentives. The Kudos solution drove strong outcomes: 80% program participation, 95% of team members received recognition in 2022, near-daily use across the workforce, and earned Kanika a Kudos Best Culture Award.
