Global Migrations Lab – Addressing Inequity in Access to Basic Services

Australian Red Cross partnered with KUDO for the Global Migration Lab, an online panel discussion focused on addressing inequity in access to basic services for migrants during COVID-19. The main challenge was delivering a timely, multilingual event that could engage participants and speakers across 48 countries despite travel restrictions, limited planning time, and language barriers. KUDO’s virtual platform and interpretation services were used to support the event.

KUDO provided an easy-to-use online platform, professional human interpretation in English, French, Spanish, and Arabic, plus technical and operational support before and during the event. The solution helped create a more inclusive global discussion for more than 100 participants, enabling smoother engagement across languages and expanding the reach and impact of the panel. KUDO also supported post-event analytics, helping Australian Red Cross measure the event’s reach and inform future operations.
