The customer, Mazda Toyota Manufacturing (MTM), faced the challenge of bridging the talent pipeline gap by connecting with students too late in their academic careers. To address this, they partnered with vendor Kuder, utilizing its Alabama Career Planning System to help identify student interests earlier and build a more strategic connection with the local school district, Madison City Schools.

The solution implemented by Kuder provided a structured system of career assessments that identified students with aptitudes for manufacturing and STEM. This data allowed MTM to host highly targeted work-based learning events, like the All Girls Auto Know experience, for pre-identified students. For Kuder, the results included a more engaged student population, a strengthened community-wide talent development strategy, and a direct pipeline from classroom learning to employment opportunities at MTM.
