WDR launches 3-reform AI web platform with Kubikfoto³

The customer, WDR, a major German public broadcaster, sought to create an innovative tool to make complex political decisions and legislative reforms more understandable and relevant to the public. They partnered with the digital production studio Kubikfoto³ to develop an interactive, AI-driven web platform for political education.

Kubikfoto³ developed "Why should I care?", a mobile-optimized web application featuring an AI chatbot and voice assistant to analyze laws and answer user questions. The solution combined automated data analysis with essential editorial review from WDR to ensure reliability and transparency. The project resulted in a credible, barrier-free source of information, earning Kubikfoto³ and WDR a Webby Award and a Grimme Online Award in 2023 for this new form of digital knowledge transfer.
