NetEase, a Hangzhou-based internet technology company, needed to modernize its internal systems to keep up with rapid business growth and improve deployment efficiency across development, test, and production. By implementing Kubernetes, NetEase standardized application deployment and built a programmable internal cloud platform for upgrades and releases. The platform can support up to 30,000 nodes in a single cluster, and in production it has handled 10,000 nodes in one cluster, helping NetEase deliver services faster and more reliably.
