Leading UK Insurance Company needed a secure, cloud-based way to store and manage around 200 million legacy call records, with extensive search and retrieval across multiple file types. Krome addressed this challenge with a cloud archive platform built on secure infrastructure and a bespoke media archive and recovery system.

Krome implemented the solution using 800TB of Dell EqualLogic PS Series storage, Force10 Dell networking switches, PowerEdge R8000 Series servers, and Palo Alto Networks firewalls across two geographically diverse data centres. The platform enables secure central search by call recording site, date, time, agent name, policy number, client name, and other metadata, giving the insurer fast access to records at massive scale.
