Large Retailing Company needed an agile partner to support a nationwide migration of 18,000 PCs from Windows XP to newer Windows platforms across 1,200 stores, 30 depots, and five support centres, while also enabling a more flexible working environment. Krome was brought in to help manage this large-scale Windows migration project.

Krome delivered a full migration from XP to Windows 7 across stores and depots, including hardware refreshes for unsupported models and remote build upgrades for supported ones, and also upgraded the in-store support centres from XP/W7 to Windows 8.1. The result was a successful nationwide transformation with improved agility and flexibility, and the customer praised Krome for its transparency, adaptability, and expert support throughout the project.
