Esher College, a sixth form college in Surrey, faced performance and capacity issues with its aging Dell EqualLogic storage infrastructure. The legacy systems were struggling to support growing data demands from courses like video editing and music production, creating a significant daily management challenge for the IT team. To address this, the college partnered with vendor Krome Technologies for an upgrade.

Krome implemented a new Dell Storage SC5020 array with 40TB of raw storage and upgraded the college's core networking with Dell Force 10 switches. This solution provided a scalable, high-performance environment.
